April       April is the month of charity and selflessness.  It is the time of the year where individuals celebrate the helping of others.  It is the time where giving is better then receiving.      Symbol:  heart     Reflections:  During this month, people reflect on those who need our help and the ways in which we can aid them.  It is a time to put aside the issues we have and acknowledge the needs of others.      Customs:  People will volunteer their time to the needy.  They will donate to charities and funding drives.  They will visit hospitals and special homes, giving their care and friendship.  There is no real buildup towards the end of this month.  There is no parade and no festival.  More then anything, those who have created projects or fundraisers for the month, tend to culminate in the final days.
