Reflections:  During the month, people simply reflect on the fact that life is good and there are an endless number of things they can do and experience.

Customs:  In the most hedonistic month of the year, and summer in full effect, individuals flock outdoors to enjoy themselves.  People have many parties: eating, drinking, laughing, playing, kissing and copulating.  It is a time to experiment in the physical sensations that our bodies give us.  In the final week of the month, large carnivals are organized, to eat and drink a diverse variety of foods, play numerous games, enjoy thrilling rides, and finally gaze at a massive fireworks display.
